The best time of year to visit Brighton. Here’s what’s happening in the city this 2023!
A few things we are looking forward to over the next few months…
Brighton Fringe – 5th May – 4th June
England’s largest arts festival, much loved by the locals. The festival supports both new and established performers and consists of over 600 events in venues throughout Brighton. This year, Brighton Fringe have taken over Jubilee Square right next door to us at My Brighton – we can’t wait for the cultural activities, installations, community events and outdoor screenings to come. Brighton Fringe also brings with it The Warren, a festival within a festival showcasing comedy, cabaret & theatre with great food and local drinks. Brighton Spiegeltent also pops up during Brighton Fringe; a circular wooden performance tent with cabaret shows, DJs and more food and drink.
The Great Escape – 10-13th May
The festival for new music returns this May! The annual event showcases hundreds of emerging global artists with new music from a variety of genres, across the city. It’s the best place to find your new favourite artist and listen to their music live in an intimate setting. There are gigs and events happening throughout the festival and so every moment is different and unique.
